Through the history of mankind, technology has proved to be one of the strongest driving forces of human development and culture. In a globalised world, Indian institutions should aim not only at becoming top institutions in India but also establish themselves as world class institutions with international standards of research, teaching and learning. Moreover, studying should have a larger social responsibility that they should strive to fulfill in addition to their duty towards the academic and technical community.
I am confident that students of SIT will contribute in abundant measure, to the task of nation building. I convey my best wishes to all the students of SIT for their future career.
